Aquastar^® Evaporators

For samples that cannot be conveniently tested by direct titration, EMD offers two evaporator models—one designed for solids and one designed for oils. Both are fully compatible with our Aquastar Karl Fischer titrators and are extremely valuable in analyzing difficult samples.

In concert with the AQV33 and the AQC34 titrators, the DO307 Oven can be used for water determinations of insoluble solids, or of substances known to be reactive with KF reagents.

The EV-2000L Oil Evaporator utilizes azeotropic distillation (Miniature Dean & Stark Distillation). It determines moisture in oils quickly and efficiently by direct titration of vapors produced by distillation of the solvent and the sample. This evaporator can be used with any Karl Fischer titrator, regardless of manufacturer.
